Henry was here, got crushing done. Uncle Fred & A. [Aunt] Mary came pap went along to Muskoph sale by Floraville & Milsdaldt [sic]. Rained a little last nite. Most people starting sew wheat today. Uncle Fred & A. Mary had supper here, went along with us to Pautler’s tonite, Standard Oil Co. is giving a free show “Stan” & free dance upstairs, musci [sic] by Radan Och. sure crowd the show was in the pavilion. Wienhoff & Schmidt have built a new garage & opened today, if you buy 5 gals. gas, get qt. oil free, today only.

Went to Red Bud took Roscow’s along to church, have 2 collections every Sun. during mass. Uncle Fred & A. [Aunt] Mary stayed awhile, they went in to Waterloo see Milly Kroll also Mrs. Schrader. Mrs. Nick Welzbacher’s mother; was also laid out. Totsches have free dance.

Went to Red Bud mass. Leo & All & Gertie came & we all went to Paulters free dance; nice crowd. Rythm [sic] Kings Orch. Walter Monike has 10½ lb. baby boy, Gertie is working there.

Cooler this morning very likely it rained some place. Miss Josie Keller came out from St. Louis, got 16. chicks .15¢, & eggs at 16¢. Uncle Fred & Aunt Mary came, all had chicken dinner here, they went back again. Josie is going on a boat trip Mon. People around selling peaches $1.75 bus. we didn’t buy any. We went to Donahue’s free dance, musci [sic] by Southern Club Entainers [sic], Irene Reheis.
