Papa went to Red Bud got medicine & went to see Christ Buehler, to haul his lumber home from Schillings; so Ivo is hauling also pop, in there truck, he was here for dinner. Uncle Fred & Aunt Mary came, he plowed his orchard with the mule; we all had lunch together here, Ivo hauled 3 loads, $4.00, finished up. We went to Waterloo to Pautler Park, free dance, given by the aldermen, Gus Goedell’s Orchestra music; & pretty fair crowd; nice hall. Sure some cool nights.
