Went to Red Bud. Mrs. Feldmann died, will be buried Tues. morn. solemn high mass; the mother of Father Feldmann, expecting 20 priests, from all over. Omer & Tillie went to Fort Chartres & Renault & home. Leo was down, they had supper here, went to Paderborn to Tolsetis tonite, free dance, & fish fry, had nice crowd. Skaers played. Geo. Boll bought our disk $10. Mr. Dare, bought the drill $8. Wm. Harbaugh was here to see Uncle. Hecker baseball team has a dance at Kammler’s Adm. 25. Schmidt’s Merry Maker playing musci [sic]; wasn’t so much of a crowd, they say. There is a free wedding anniversary dance at Donahue’s tonite, musci [sic] by Carle’s Orch. Barry May, Eichelmann’s all have shooting matches, for geese & ducks today.

Uncle Fred & Aunt Mary where here for dinner & supper. Henry & family where also here for supper. A Swap Store man came our from Belleville & looked at our organ, took it along in trade for a dresser. Uncle Adams picture was in yesterdays paper that he will be 84 yrs. old May 6. We went to Waterloo this evening, closing of the 40 hrs. Adoration; Fr. Adyt & Stern & good many other priests.

Papa got crushing done this morn. It is such a nice day too, it is warm for being Jan. Willie Ganley’s children got the measles. Paul Pour has them too. Gilbert Birkner was sent home from school the other day, he had fever. Henry was here this morning, he brought some oats up too the preist’s from Peter Reheis. There was a man from Collinsville here this morning. He wants to buy timber. Papa went up town this afternoon. Walter Weber’s of E. St. Louis have a little baby girl. Uncle Fred & Aunt Mary was here this afternoon. They came up to file in their claim in the Hecker Bank. Frank Birkner’s have a little baby boy since yesterday afternoon. They are going to christened it Sun. afternoon, Roland.
