We all went to Belleville this morning & sold $10.85 meat & $3.50 for 10 doz. eggs, we got .35¢ a doz. Papa went up town this afternoon. We cooked some beef soup for supper & invited Henry & family & Uncle Fred & Aunt Mary to come up, so they all were here for supper. We played six handed pinochle, ladies against the men, two games were played & each won one. It started snowing so they all left for home. Aunt Mary said this evening that Oscar Birkner’s boy Leo & girl Erma were both so sick with the Winter Fever.
